Cone 6: Winter Wood is a matte white glaze that contains a brown crystal. As the crystal melts, brown striations appear. The brown striations left in the glaze have a keen likeness to woodgrain.
Cone 10: Colour changes to a translucent golden brown.
TIP: SW-106 Alabaster is the base glaze. For a lighter crystal effect, you may try applying two coats of SW-106 Alabaster with a third coat of SW-155 Winter Wood.
Not nearly as nice as I thought it was going to be.
My new favourite on buff clay. Looks amazing.
Winter wood is the perfect pottery rim addition to any pot. Dip the rim and let it do its magic.
