Limelight

P-40 Limelight is a fluid, spring green glaze with iridescent mottling where thick.

Food Safe: Tested for lead and cadmium release in accordance with ASTM C738-94.

Application Tips: 

• 3 brush coats recommended.
  • If you apply the glaze heavily, 2 coats will also work.
• Best glazing brush to use: AMACO Fitch Fan Brush.
• Underapplication will result in a dry glaze with no crystals.
• Overapplication will cause a rough appearance.
  • Can also lead to heavier flow.

Layers well over AMACO Celadons, other Potter's Choice, and Satin Matte glazes. Glaze layering fired results may run if paired with a runny glaze. Apply receding coats when layering to help with runniness of final fired result. We recommend testing any layering combination before applying it to a full ceramic piece. 

Fire to cone 6 when used alone or layered for results similar to AMACO imagery.

Shake well before use. For best results, do not thin the glaze; apply 3 coats with a brush to Cone 04 bisque. (Let the glaze dry between coats.) Glaze fire to Cone 5-6. Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch of glaze.
