Stroke & Coats are heavily pigmented and can be used for brush strokes or opaque coverage. One coat will create a translucent finish with subsequent coats adding opacity. We suggest two to three coats for full opacity. Will fire to a gloss finish.
I just love this glaze! It's beautiful by itself on brown / red clay. But oh my is it amazing when layered with other glazes. Right now, my favourite combination is 3 base coats of honey flux, then a band of blue rutile on the rim, 3 times. BEAUTIFUL.
This glaze is gorgeous and does best when not layered (just slight overlap) with other glazes. It turns out metalic with stunning results. I fire at cone 7 and thrilled pleased with the results.
