Create the perfect finish with the D17/D18 Sharp Flame Rotary Tools! These diamond rotary tools are ideal for grinding glaze drips, removing sharp edges, and shaping bisque spots on ceramic pieces. Beyond ceramics, you can also use them to work on tile, stone, and glass surfaces. Each grit is sold separately. 

DESCRIPTION:

  • Solid diamond grinding rotary tool burrs made of solid diamond grit and metal down to the shaft
  • 7 mm x 15 mm length sharp flame shape
  • D17 100 grit medium for grinding
  • D18 170 grit fine for smoothing 

USES:

  • Grinding glaze drips, bisque, or high-fired ceramic
  • Also works on tile, stone, or glass
  • Removing sharp edges, smooth chipped edges
  • Shaping bisque and glaze ware spots
  • Removing kiln shelf debris

  • Use a cordless rotary tool to avoid water getting in the motor
  • Always use with water to extend tool life and control dust
  • Do not attempt to force or pry with this tool
  • Keep out of the reach of children

Note: For longevity, use water, high speed, and gentle pressure. Overheating the tool will greatly decrease tool lifespan and change the tool shape.
